James Dammen

James Dammen, a native of Austin, MN, has always been passionate about athletics. During his high school years, he excelled in football and track and field, specializing in sprinting and pole vaulting. It was in his sophomore year that James discovered his love for weight training, finding immense satisfaction in setting and achieving goals through dedicated effort.

At the age of 28, James took his athletic pursuits to new heights by trying out for the Chicago Bears, an experience that left a lasting impact on him. While his initial focus in training was on achieving aesthetic changes, James's philosophy has since evolved. Today, he is committed to becoming a balanced athlete, striving to enjoy life to the fullest through a well-rounded and holistic approach to fitness.

As James's competitive years playing ball came to an end, he allowed his fitness to take a back seat, leading to a significant psychological struggle. Fitness had been a defining characteristic of his life, and losing that focus left him feeling lost. After a few years, James found himself out of shape, having gained a significant amount of weight and struggling with his self-image.

Enter CrossFit. The new and exciting training methodologies of CrossFit were unlike anything James had encountered before, and it reignited the spark he needed to get back into the best shape of his life. Recognizing the vital role of health and fitness in living life to the fullest, James has made it his passion to help others achieve their goals. With a background in multiple competitive sports, bodybuilding, CrossFit, nutrition, and nutritional psychology, he is dedicated to guiding others on their own fitness journeys.
